I think most of ye know Martin produced my band Black Fortress of Opium's album, and since then I have been collaborating with him, mostly doing some backup vox on his music. He has a digital EP being released coinciding with this tour. The EP, titled 'Son of a Gun', will be out on Contraphonic Records (Chicago, IL), and is an extension of Martin's full-length, 'Sirens of the Apocalypse'. I am singing on several of the songs, which also feature Bill Laswell, Brian Viglione (The Dresden Dolls/World Inferno Friendship Society), Bob D'Amico (Fiery Furnaces), Peter Hess (Balkan Beat Box/World Inferno Friendship Society) and other fine musicians lesser known.

Other news:
Black Fortress of Opium did some shows in Pennsylvania last weekend and the response was amazing. I predict more to come.

We're shooting a video this July around Boston with Noah Blumenson-Cook, a Turkish Queen/Cloud Club associate who received the "Most Promising New England Filmmaker" award from the 2009 Boston Underground Film Festival for his music video for the band Jaggery. We thank those who have donated already to get our 'Afyonkarahisar Battle Cry' video made, but we are still in need of additional financial support.
