I just read about how Amanda is having surgery on her throat because she has vocal nodes.

My heart goes out to her. But it is good she's addressing the problem now so she doesn't permanently damage her voice.

Jeez, and she doesn't even play with loud guitar amps or anything. She's been singing her ass off, though, for many years now, and for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Unfortunately, such things can happen when people work it too hard, I guess.

Anyway, I wish her a safe and speedy recovery.

There is nothing sadder than a songbird who cannot sing.
